Alfa Laval Explorer Biopharma Trial
Validate separation performance using your own product and operating conditions before making a long-term investment. Alfa Laval Biopharma Trial Program enables you to assess separation efficiency, product recovery, scalability and process economics under actual operating conditions, with support from experienced Alfa Laval application specialists.
Meet Alfa Laval Explorer
Alfa Laval Explorer is a premium pilot-scale disc stack centrifuge system mounted on a compact mobile skid. Based on Alfa Laval’s unique bottom-feed design, it minimizes shear and air entrainment, making it suitable for shear-sensitive biological materials. The system can be configured for CHO cell cultures, bacteria, E. coli, yeast and other fermentation broths.
